Ingredients
Use the amounts stated in brackets to make a low-sugar sauce.
70 grams | Caster sugar (Elislim sugar substitute ※ + pure brown sugar) |
140 ml | ★Vinegar (grain vinegar) |
2 tbsp | ★Boiling water |
40 ml | ♡Nam pla |
2 tsp | ♡Lemon Juice (or vinegar) |
1 | clove- Garlic |
2 | plus Red chili pepper |
Method
1 Add the ★ ingredients to a saucepan and dissolve the sugar without letting the mixture boil. Stop the heat and mix in the ♡ ingredients well. Leave to cool.
2 Grate the garlic and add it to the mixture from Step 1.
3 Finely chop the chillis (with seeds) and add to the mixture as well. If you're using dried chillis you can cut them up easily with a pair of scissors. Leave the mixture to sit overnight and it's ready!
4 Elislim has zero calories and contains no saccharides. It can be heated and is a sweetener with 3x the sweetness of normal sugar.
